Check out the pencils on a brand new comic, Tales from the Con-Verse, debuting this October!
Tales from the Con-Verse will be a seriel comic, featuring a trilogy of stories each issue with narration by Mr Levi! The first story will feature Teddy The Monster Slayer. Teddy is written by Marcus Morgan with art by Udo Cass and was created by both Morgan & Martin Dunn. It is about Guardian bears who defend the souls of children from the demons of Hell who manifest themselves as monsters. They use the darkness of closets as doorways into these childrens rooms and the room that Teddy defends happens to have the largest doorway into Hell. This story will be ongoing.
The second story will be Zombie Squad with story provided by the creator, Martin Dunn and artwork by James Whynot. Zombie Squad is about a 5 kids who survived the zombie apocalypse due to their love of the genre. They fortify their backyard and treehouse and basically run amuck Saturday morning cartoon style having adventures.
It's very dark humor and almost like Monster Squad meets Lord of the Flies. This story will be ongoing.
The 3rd story will be a rotating block consisting of various creators featuring stories in the same vein.
This sounds like a very cool project and I can't wait for its debut! Keep an eye out for this one!!
