Guy Pulls Zombie Prank in Miami, Almost Gets Shot (VIDEO)

In possibly one of the most tasteless and ill-timed pranks of all time, a Miami ‘filmmaker’ named Vitaly Zdorovetskiy decided that it would be a good idea to film himself chasing people around while dressed as a zombie.
In Miami.
The city in which a man recently had most of his face eaten off in a bizarre attack that has drawn comparisons to the zombie attacks seen in horror films.
Yeah. So you can imagine how well that went over.

The video, posted above, shows the ‘prankster’ dressed in a vaguely zombie-like fashion and approaching individuals and groups of Miami residents while snarling, growling, and generally acting like a member of the undead.
Around the two-minute mark, one scared resident can be seen pulling out a gun. Considering the fact that Florida employs the ‘Stand Your Ground’ law, this could have ended a lot worse.
Okay, opinion time.
Causing innocent people to believe that they’re about to meet a violent death for the sake of ‘humor’ is extremely ethically questionable at the best of times. But making people who live in a city in which a horrific tragedy has just occurred believe that they’ll be meeting the same fate is downright sick.
It’s akin to walking into Columbine a month after the shootings with a toy gun and pointing it at people. Somehow I think that, “LOL, YOU GUYZ! CHILL OUT! IT’S JUST A HILARIOUS JOKE! HA HA HA!” wouldn’t have evoked the intended response.
I’m not saying that tasteless or dark humor isn’t a valid (or even good) way to deal with tragedy, especially tragedy as bizarre as this. But intentionally terrorizing the very people who were affected? Not cool.
The video, which was posted with the title ‘Miami Zombie Attack Prank!’, came with a warning that stated, “Very dangerous prank! Almost got shot! DO NOT TRY IT!”
Good advice.
