WHAT: Fifth Annual Rosendale Zombie Festival and Parade
WHEN: Oct. 25 from 2 to 6 p.m. rain or shine
WHERE: Gather at Willow Kiln Park (behind Rosendale Theater), with parade down Main Street, Rosendale.
DETAILS: Parade participants will meet up at Willow Kiln Park to line up for parade. The Zombie Parade starts at 2:30 p.m. down Main Street, then back up tothe park. The parade will be led by Fre Atlast and her community drum ensemble. That will be followed by live music and a costume contest in the park from 3 to 6 p.m. Live music will be provided by local and regional bands. DJ Wayne Manor will be spinning the spookiest vinyl throughout the event. Members from The Forest Of Fear haunted attraction in Tuxedo will be hosting the costume contest. Prizes will be given out for best costumes. A zombie makeup booth will be available starting at 12 p.m.
