Opportunity Village Presents First-Ever Special Valentine’s Day Prom And More!

For the first time ever during Valentine’s Day weekend, Opportunity Village(OV) will host two special events at The Magical Forest. 

On Friday night, February 13, freaks and ghouls are invited to OV’s “Zombie Prom” adult-only party from 8 p.m. to 12 p.m. The next night, Valentine’s Day, guests can renew their wedding vows or get married by Elvis at the “Prom Night Re-do & Renew” on February 14th from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tickets for both events are on sale now and limited to 500 guests each.

Opportunity Village’s “Zombie Prom” will recreate a nostalgic high school prom as a ‘zombie-fied’ affair by transforming the gym into a zombie wonderland. Guests are encouraged to put on their scariest zombie make-up, dress up in their bloodiest outfits and thrillingly dance the night away. The OV “Zombie Prom” will feature live entertainment, food, bar, zombie make-up artists, Zombie Costume Contest judged by Evil Dead: The Musical cast members and full access to the Magical Forest. Guests must be 21 years of age or older.

The following day, Valentine’s Day, Opportunity Village will renew wedding vows for an inspiring amount of couples at the “Prom Night Re-do & Renew”. Las Vegas’ Official Elvis and ordained minister, Jesse Garon will reunite the pairs in an unforgettable mass ceremony. A Mass Wedding will also be performed by Elvis, to be held at the Castle Courtyard in the Magical Forest. Afterwards, guests can celebrate their vow renewals or nuptials as the Prom continues or enjoy a stroll through the romantic Magical Forest. This event is for adults 21+.

The family-friendly Magical Forest, located at the Oakey Campus at 6300 West Oakey Blvd, including selected attractions and rides, will be open to the public on Valentine’s Day, Saturday night only, from 6:00 – 10:00 p.m. Park and partygoers can purchase souvenirs and novelty items, and food and beverages will also be available at several outlets.

• General Admission to the Magical Forest is $15 per person. Children 2 and under are free. General Admission includes entrance to the Magical Forest plus unlimited access to selected rides and attractions.
• Zombie Prom tickets are available for $45 each and $85 for couples, and includes entrance to the park and Prom, admission to select rides and attractions and one free Zombie drink per person.
• Prom Night Re-do & Renew tickets are available for $55 each and $100 for couples, and includes entrance to the park and Prom, admission to select rides and attractions, Wedding Vow Renewal Ceremony, champagne and hors d’ouevres.
• The Mass Wedding costs only $100 per couple (who must supply their own wedding license) and includes two additional guest admissions to the Magical Forest.
