Resident Evil: Damnation Available Sept. 25th!

Do you remember that CG flick, Resident Evil: Degeneration, from a couple of years back that starred famous zombie killer Leon Kennedy doing what he does best during an undead outbreak in an airport? Well, it now has a sequel. It's called Resident Evil: Damnation and, judging by the trailer, things aren't exactly looking up for Mr. Kennedy.

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment and Capcom announced this morning that Resident Evil: Damnation will be coming to the States on September 25th for DVD and Blu-ray.

This time around, Kennedy finds himself in an “Eastern European nation torn by civil war.” His vacation is of course interrupted by a whole new breed of monsters, which Kennedy will likely have to kill pretty much by himself.

This DVD/Blu-ray release will also come packed with some bonus features, including the Las Plagas: organisms of War featurette, voice bloopers (Maybe they'll include the entire script for the original Resident Evil game. If that stuff wasn't “bloopers,” I don't know what is.), and a making of featurette. The Blu-ray will have the added bonus of a conceptual art gallery, taking advantage of all that extra space with, um, lots and lots of pictures.

So, if you just can't wait for Resident Evil 6 to ship this October to fulfill your zombie blasting needs, keep your eyes trained on the DVD/Blu-ray shelves come September. 25th.
