Pokemon Meet Zombies In This Gameplay Mash-Up Video

Plants vs Zombies is an amazing game. There’s no argument that can prove otherwise by any means. Though this is a fact, that doesn’t mean that there’s no room to make the game even better than it already is. I mean, the gameplay is simple: collect sun power, plant dudes, damage zombies, save your brains. It’s really that easy and is tons of fun as it is.

However, recently there have been some gifs popping up all around the net that combine two of our most favorite things: Pokemon and zombies. These gifs show off all kinds of antics such as Bellsprout shooting zombies, Tangela drowning a zombie, Diglett blowing up a zombie, and more. These little treasures are awesome, and they’ve become a spark of motivation and brilliance.

A reader from Kotaku has gone and made a short video of what it would be like to actually play a Pokemon vs Zombies game. We’ve got all of our favorites: Bellsprout, Diglett, Snorlax, and there’s even a Pikachu thrown in. The video shows off some “gameplay” footage, so it’s only natural for me to want a mod for the game that brings this to life.
