Red, White & Dead 2012 – Seattle’s Zombie Walk Is Back With A Vengence!

Seattle takes a lot of pride in its zombies. And on July 7, you could help the Seattle Zombie Walk take it’s world record back! The 4th annual Red, White & Dead is a zombie-infested flash mob that will be held in Fremont from 12-8 p.m.
Last year, the event attracted over 7000 zombiephiles. But for reasons unknown (at least to me) Seattle was not granted the Guinness World Record for it. But the organizers have tried to put their disappointment aside and take aim at now current world record holder Mexico City.
Last year, G4 Attack of the Show featured the walk at San Diego Comic Con 2011. View the video here.
So, it’s time to spread the undead plague and infect all of your friends. Let’s make this year Seattle’s largest Zombie Walk event ever! For a list of events and times go here. Get your tickets now!
The event is organized by ZomBcon International, the same company that has organized Seattle’s ZomBcon events. Sadly, the 2012 ZomBcon has been cancelled. Despite success the last two years, a lack of financial support and investors has led to its hiatus. The event is being reconsidered and restructured and hopes to be back in full swing in 2014.
