Back in the day, local police departments used to supply coloring/activity books to school children to promote such things as fire or traffic safety, and to educate about the perils of drugs. Now, the C.R.A.Z.E (Community Resources Against Zombie Epidemic) unit is pleased to present STAY ALIVE--NOT UNDEAD: A ZOMBIE SAFETY & AWARENESS COLORING/ACTIVITY BOOK.
The goal of STAY ALIVE--NOT UNDEAD: A ZOMBIE SAFETY & AWARENESS COLORING/ACTIVITY BOOK is to educate children that best way to protect yourself from the zombie epidemic is to "Stay Alive..."

Officer Romero advises young Ben and Barbara to "Stay Alive" with illustrated pages to color and challenging and fun activities such as word searches, mazes, and more. And, of course, staying alert, levelheaded, informed, vigilant, and encouraged is good advice all around, and not just when dealing with the zombie epidemic. The STAY ALIVE--NOT UNDEAD: A ZOMBIE SAFETY & AWARENESS COLORING/ACTIVITY BOOK will be a minimum of 24 pages and will be standard comic book size.

We've assembled a line-up of talented comic book and roleplaying game artists, supplying them with boxes of crayons and special sketch cover editions of the STAY ALIVE--NOT UNDEAD: A ZOMBIE SAFETY & AWARENESS COLORING/ACTIVITY BOOK, and having them unleash their own unique zombie scribbles. (Sketch Covers printed on Strathmore 400 Series Bristol 2 ply.)
So far we've got Chris Fason (Hero Happy Hour), D.J. Coffman (Hero By Night), Darren M.A. Calvert (Mutants & Masterminds), Chuck BB (Black Metal), Don Figueroa (Transformers), J.K. Woodward (Star Trek: The Next Generation/Dr. Who), Todd Nauck (Guarding The Globe), Ben Templesmith (30 Days of Night), and Gabriel Rodriguez (Locke & Key). These one-of-a-kind crayon drawn sketch covers are very limited, with some of the artists only doing one, so they won't last long. We might be able to convince them to do a few more, but there are no guarantees. If we get additional sketch covers from the above listed artist they will be listed at a higher reward level -- so act fast!
And, we're also working on lining up additional artists to offer even more unique crayon zombie artwork on the limited special sketch cover editions of the STAY ALIVE--NOT UNDEAD: A ZOMBIE SAFETY & AWARENESS COLORING/ACTIVITY BOOK. We will be announcing more artists as they are confirmed, in addition to any additional sketch covers are already stellar line-up of artists are able to offer.
Backers have the option of adding multiple copies of the STAY ALIVE--NOT UNDEAD: A ZOMBIE SAFETY & AWARENESS COLORING/ACTIVITY BOOK to any pledge reward package. backers to add multiple copies to their reward by adding $4.00 for each additional copy they want (maximum of 10 additional copies). No additional shipping charges applied to the original reward (maximum of 10 additional copies). Example: If you pledge $7.00 for the single copy reward package, you can increase your pledge to $11.00 for two copies at no additional shipping charges (including Canada and International orders). STAY ALIVE--NOT UNDEAD: A ZOMBIE SAFETY & AWARENESS COLORING/ACTIVITY BOOK is the "brainchild" of comic book writer (and, former IDW Publishing editor) Dan Taylor, who co-created the fan-favoriteHero Happy Hour, and is currently writing Armarauders for Mecha Workshop. The artwork for STAY ALIVE--NOT UNDEAD: A ZOMBIE SAFETY & AWARENESS COLORING/ACTIVITY BOOK is being provided by artist Darren M.A. Calvert, who has illustrated many roleplaying game products for publishers such as Green Ronin Publishing, Kobold Quarterly Magazine, White Wolf Games, and more.
The funds raised with this Kickstarter project will be used to pay for the artwork, production, and publication of the STAY ALIVE--NOT UNDEAD: A ZOMBIE SAFETY & AWARENESS COLORING/ACTIVITY BOOK.
