                               10/27/12 (North Conway, NH)

No fun loving zombie would be caught dead

missing the first annual Settlers’ Green Zombie Village!

Join the hordes of the living dead on Saturday, October 27 from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Lurch, shamble, grunt, groan and drag your limbs to North Conway’s premier shopping complex for one creepy night of fun and fright.
There are many great events ongoing throughout the night. Enter to win the contest for best costume and make-up and be crowned Zombie King and Zombie Queen. There will be face painting by the Children’s Museum, a zombie dance tent with DJ Towsley Tunes and a showing of the movie “Zombieland” on the large outdoor theater screen. Kennett HS Dance Team, under the direction of Holly Fougere will entertain with roaming zombie dance performances as they come to life and crash out of their coffins.
There is also a flash mob to Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” planned. Be a cool zombie and learn the moves with this instructional video so you can help lead the mob.
The newly crowned zombie King and Queen will lead the grand finale Zombie Walk to gather around the bonfire. Floats, groups, individuals are encouraged to participate.
Glenn Noble, Director, Arts in Motion Theater Company has enjoyed working with Settlers’ Green to bring creativity to this event. “Zombies have been scaring us since we were kids. With the popularity of recent movies like “Zombieland” and TV’s “The Walking Dead”, the living dead have taken on a whole new life, so to speak.

There will be many frightful surprises for all and a special something for the first 100 zombies! This is intended to be a fun event, but we are encouraging lifelike makeup, blood, performances, etc. and because of this do not recommend it for younger children.”
