'ZOMBIE SITTER' AN INDIEGOGO PROJECT

Help fund a full feature film in pre-production. The money will support production requirements. We cannot do it without your help! Lend a hand to a dedicated filmmaker and his motivated son to create the next big Zombie Hit!

The Story
Members of a small town are turned into Zombies. Mysteriously, a tech savvy 10 year old named Connor is unaffected and ready to run the town. Connor has fun being on his own and messing with the klutzy ghouls, but the zombies start to get smarter and stronger. Connor must use his crafty skills to booby-trap his house, save his friends, and survive through the night.

It is really a coming of age story about the millennium generation. Once the main character realizes that video games and television are zombifying, he gets the courage and skills to save his family and friends. Connor transforms into a young adut as he learns independence, the benefits of a healthy lifestyle, and the importance of family.

Full Synopsis
What was that?!? A screech in the corner?  A howl through the window? Get ready for Zombie Sitter – a funny family thriller. It's vacation time and the Johnsons are traveling to Grandpa’s boring house. Little do they know, strange cosmic activity is about to turn everyone into flesh eating monsters! Connor, the crafty son, is left to fend for himself while his parents are locked up safe at a military compound. There’s good news! Connor controls the whole city and uses the zombies to have fun. No supervision is a blast, eating too much junk food, playing video games all day, and rocking on dad’s guitar is finally possible!

Connor turns the town into a playground and makes a crazy mess. Right when he starts to miss his family, he discovers the zombies are getting stronger. They are about to break in! Now it’s up to Connor and his trusted robot partner to save the town. But, Do they have time to build makeshift booby traps so the swarm of living dead doesn’t capture them?

“MIRAGEMAN succeeds – and succeeds strongly – for two simple reasons: Ernesto Diaz Espinoza and Marko Zaror”

Questions?
When are we shooting the film?
We are preparing to shoot in late October/November 2012. We are in the middle of prepping locations and actors. It will be a great time!

What is crowd-funding?
It's a public campaign that allows independent artists and filmmakers LIKE US to raise money to make our film, and we offer rewards.  You can see what our campaign looks like here at INDIEGOGO.

What is the money used for?
Every cent we raise is going towards our production budget; everything from camera equipment, lights, crew, wardrobe & costume, makeup & visual FX, editing, lodging the cast & crew, transportation, production insurance, contracts, locations, production design, set construction... it takes an army of people, equipment, time, preparation, hard work, money and planning, to make a film.
