The second annual Zombie Walk is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012 at 2 p.m. in Paris, Texas. Arrive early to accommodate last minute zombie costume adjustments and to visit the vendors and merchants participating in the Festival of Pumpkins. The Zombie Walk will start at the YWCA Paris & Lamar County, 308 South Main Street, next to the Paris Public Library.
Prizes for participants and trophies will be awarded for costume contest winners. Kick your creative spirit into high gear with the best zombie ensemble. Practice your grunts, cries and moans.
If you have never been to Paris, Texas, it is an opportunity to experience the strong sense of community. This event primarily takes place in the Paris Downtown Square with views of historic architecture and the Culbertson Fountain. Bring your camera. A day of memories is in store.
All proceeds from this event will benefit YWCA Paris MPower Program and Safe House, for victims of domestic abuse and The Red River Valley Veterans Memorial.
