The Office Zombie app by Fluik is a game where a zombie apocalypse deals with the grind of the 9-5 business day. You get to throw various items at your undead co-worker.
You get to start out with three items to throw: a dead fish, a bear trap, and a hammer. Every time you get a different response. Once you fulfill certain tasks, you get a bonus item to throw. There are even daily challenges and rewards.
The graphics are good in this app, and so are the sound effects. If you’ve played Office Jerk, then you’ll be familiar with the purpose of this game.
This is a free game, but if you want more items to throw, you’ll have to either win the challenges or make in-app purchases. In addition to the three first things you get to throw, you’ll also get the chance to win or purchase a shiny hatchet, cackling Jack-O-Lantern, a rusty saw blade, witches cauldron brew, a handy bear trap, a mean old piranha, a flaming Molotov cocktail, a track and field shotput, a nasty pop can, and more.
Without in-app purchases, this game has the potential to get boring fairly quickly. Purchases range from $0.99 to remove the ads or to buy an eyeball jar, up to $6.99 for 100 eyeballs. There are currently 10 in-app purchases you can make.
The Office Zombie app has a total of 14555 ratings with an average of four out of five stars. The current version has 26 ratings with an average of 4.5 stars out of five. The latest update occurred on October 9, 2012, to Version 1.8. This update improved performance and stability, made a few small bug fixes, and fixed issues the app was having with iOS 6. The app is rated 9+ for Frequent/Intense Cartoon or Fantasy Violence.
