FLINT ZOMBIE WALK AND ZOMBIE DASH 10/13/12 (FLINT, MI)




Welcome to the 4th annual Flint Zombie Walk sponsored by Flint City Theatre! Save the date - October 13, 2012 (World Zombie Day!)
Mission
Providing Flint with a fun, unique undead experience once a year and helping out a great cause! This year all funds go to Michigan School for the Deaf Alumni Association. They will distribute funds, as needed, to students of MSD providing book fairs, field trips, etc.
Description
Flint Zombie Walk 2012 welcomes the undead to the streets on Flint! Join our Grand Marshall, Mr. Ken Foree, star of George Romero's Dawn of the Dead, as he leads the hordes of the undead!!
General Information
Registration Begins: 9am
Doors to Dealer Room Open: 10am
Walk Begins: 1pm, leaving from Masonic Temple
Dealer room closes: 6pm







START:  Wave start 6:30-7:15 PM at Holly State Recreation Area
RACE:  5.75K trail run as darkness falls, running from Zombies through the Rec Area’s dark and wooded trails
Runners must wear two “life strips,” or flag football flags, tucked in their waist and avoid zombies hiding out along the way, bent on yanking the strips away and giving racers a time penalty.  As the race takes place from sunset to darkness, all runners will be required to wear a headlamp or flashlight.
