ZOMBIE INDIEGOGO PROJECT: Zombie Babies 2: The Crawling Dead

A sequel to ZOMBIE BABIES, where we improve EVERY ASPECT of the original! Real puppet horror! Even more tasteless than the original!

Summary

Hello folks! My name is Eamon Hardiman, founder of Razor Sharp Studios, a Charleston WV based film company responsible for the Porkchop trilogy as well as Zombie Babies! 
We were recently lucky enough to have Zombie Babies EXPLODE in popularity, winding up on Netflix, being picked up by Best Buy, Sears, K-Mart, Amazon.com, and lots of other retailers. Heck, we even got featured in ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY where they had this to say: "AFI: Make room on your 100 best movies list!" 



The only thing is, we were never 100% happy with Zombie Babies. It was made to be an intentionally bad, horrifically offensive film from which no one was safe and I think we nailed that perfectly as well as the performances and the comedy of the picture.


BUT! We were just not experienced enough at the time to really make the picture into the glorious display of puppetry that it should have been. 


This is where Zombie Babies 2 comes in. We now get a chance to go back with all the experience we've gained on Porkchop II: Rise of the Rind and Porkchop 3D and apply all of that knowledge to make a kick-ass, nasty ride in the tradition of movies such as Gremlins and Ghoulies. 

What We Need & What You Get

We need to raise $50,000 to do this properly. Why 50? Well, the first film wound up costing us somewhere around $5,000 not including travel for our actors (which ran quite a bit more). We managed to get a nationwide release for the film, wound up on Netflix, got into Entertainment Weekly, and who knows what else will happen? But the budget killed so much of what we wanted to do. We wanted to have way more time to shoot, better equipment, better materials for the babies, to be able to pay our crew, to afford make-up artists and hair stylists, and to fix those damned green sticks coming out of the babies' arms! Now imagine if we'd had ten times the budget! This is where you come in.


This money will not only allow us to make our highest budgeted film ever, it will enable us to show you what we are all truly capable of, unhampered by budget restrictions that have forced us to chop our scripts to bits each and every time. Trust me, the stuff that's on the cutting room floor is GOLD. Let's make sure that happens this time.


It will also allow us to pay our crew, to rent some really nice equipment to make the shots look better and creepier, to fashion new babies that will blow the first movie's babies out of the damn water! Also, it will allow us to bring some very talented folks in to act in the film. Some folks you will REALLY enjoy seeing.
