Kickstarter Project: Zombie Shuffle

Zombie Shuffle is a feature film based in Orlando, FL. It is an adventure comedy that gives an homage to all types of Zombie films!
What is Zombie Shuffle?
Zombie Shuffle is a full length zombie comedy based and to be filmed in Florida. It follows four friends as they leave home and try to escape the zombie apocalypse. Through hilariously heart warming moments these friends relive iconic scenes and moments found in the most beloved zombie films.
On their travels, these four friends meet other survivors, scavengers, allies and foes, but most importantly they find a mysterious apocalyptic playlist.
What is the Apocalyptic Playlist?
The apocalyptic playlist is based off of the MP3 Shuffle Game. For those of you who don't know what that is, the MP3 Shuffle Game is an online game where you put your iPod or other MP3 device on shuffle and watch as the songs correspond to your adventure. This game is fun and can have hilarious results!
Try it out yourself by taking a look below!

Risks and challenges

There are a lot of challenges that come with making a full length movie! For us, the biggest challenge is financial. Movies cost a lot! From getting a crew, a cast, props, costumes, makeup, transportation, lighting, as well as much more, the cost adds up quickly!
The two biggest concerns for us right now are locations and music rights!
Finding a location that you'd like to film is easy, that is until you realize that it's a zombie film and you don't want people or cars moving around in the background. You eventually realize that you need to close off the street or surrounding area. What we are doing to make this zombie film as good (and legal) as it can possibly be, is contacting the state and having them secure the section of the street for us. We also need to hire a police officer to direct traffic and control the situation. Needless to say, it's not cheap.
Another obstacle that we face is purchasing music rights. This film revolves around a mp3 player that we would like to play good, recognizable songs. These songs cost a lot of money to be used in full length films, but to make this the best it can be, those songs will fit the best.
Donating to this project will helps us get past these challenges. It will also give you the right to show your family and friends the film after it's completed and say "I helped make this happen!" Because, in all honesty, we can't do this without your support.
