Zombie Hunter is a full-length independent feature film. It started out as an idea to make a low-budget movie that we could get excited about, put our own personality into, and have an amazing time making. The idea grew and spread like a disease, bigger and sicker, and before we knew it we were watching a rough cut of the full movie. We are huge old school Gore, Horror, Spaghetti Western, and Action film fans. We love Zombies, Nasty Creatures, Muscle Cars, CGI, Special Effects, Awesome Music and Hot Chicks. Our goal was to incorporate this passion into one project: the bloody birth of a film that is Zombie Hunter.
Zombie Hunter is independently produced and funded. In the true spirit of Independent filmmaking, we had no problem throwing in our own money and working for free…Nothing like rolling the dice.. The good news is we made it through production, cut the rough edit, and got a trailer done. The hard part is over.
Zombie Hunter is set in a post-apocalyptic Zombie wasteland caused by the mysterious street drug "Natas". We follow one man who has nothing left other than a beat up Camaro and a trunk full of guns and booze. He runs down Flesh Eaters, hunting for sport and redemption, while also running from his past. After crashing into a small group of survivors, who are running low on resources, he decides to lend a hand. But a surprise attack by the Flesh Eaters forces them on the run and puts the Hunter’s skills to the test.
Danny Trejo (Father Jesús) The legend himself. From stabbing Vampires to slashing Zombies, Danny has done it all. In 2010 Danny became the face of Robert Rodriguez's Machete. Other works include Desperado, From Dusk Till Dawn, Con Air, etc.
Martin Copping (The Hunter) Born in Australia, Martin made his way to the United States to jump start his career as an action star. Martin's most recent work includes playing side by side with Steven Seagal in the classic short film Sheep Impact and Forbidden Ground.
Clare Niederpruem (Alison) An up-and-coming beauty who knows how to work the camera (and a sawed-off shotgun). Clare is no stranger to action: you can see her mowing down orcs in Orc Wars, fighting evil wizards and dragons in Dragon Warriors, and getting her head chopped off in Orcs! Most recent work also includes sucking blood in Vamp U.
Jade Regier (Fast Lane Debbie) Model and Actress. Jade has been featured in several high-end magazines, including Playboy. She loves to get chased by bloodthirsty Zombies... and she also loves to dance.
How Kickstarter Works: People pledge an amount and choose a reward. At the end of our 30-day Kickstarter campaign, if the combined total of all pledges for our project meets our $30,000 goal, then the credit cards of those who pledge are charged and we receive the funds to finish our film. If we don't meet our goal, then the money is not withdrawn from your account and no rewards are provided :(. If we exceed our $30,000 goal then the extra funds will be used to make the movie even better - so keep pledging! All funds raised are used directly in the finishing of our film.
Our Rewards: We're not looking for charity, we're looking for an alternate sales venue - that's why our rewards reflect fair market value. Don't think of it as a donation, think of it as a pre-purchase. If you want to see this film, buy it now through Kickstarter - you'll probably get a better deal from us than from whatever retailer ends up selling it in your country, and you'll help make our film better!
Choose from either Fast Lane Debbie or Zombie From Hell. Each head is handcrafted by Special FX makeup artist Chris Hanson ( Hellboy, Men in Black, Men in Black II, Underworld, Spawn, S. Darko ).
Why we need your help: The film is already shot, a trailer has already been cut, but there's still a bunch of work left to do. Chris needs a team to help mitigate the VFX work. We want our VFX to be the highest quality possible which is going to take a lot of work. Our music is already being scored, however there is still work to be done for the rest of post sound, dialogue, sound effects, and voiceovers. This isn't much and we are getting amazing deals but it does start to add up. If we reach our goal of $30,000.00 we will have enough to not only finish the Film but finish it the way it should be finished.
The Klimax is small group of filmmakers that love to make movies. Our backgrounds range from Commercials and Music videos to Feature Films. Through our years of hard work we have made connections that have allowed us to team up with other successful Production companies and worldwide distributors. We do pretty much everything ourselves, from conception to financing to production to securing distribution. We love the creative freedom that comes with being independent and we love the kind of movies we've been given an opportunity to make.

RISKS AND CHALLENGES
Film is a complicated technical exercise, and often unforeseen difficulties arise, causing budget and scheduling overruns — particularly when complex visual effects are involved. That being said, we have teamed with Arrowstorm Entertainment, a Production company that has successfully completed and released every film they've started. They have produced several visual effects heavy projects in the past, and see no reason why we shouldn't be able to accomplish our goal.
On the plus side, this film is largely complete. A great deal of the risk in the project has already been mitigated, and we are too far along to turn back and give up. We are seeking funding to complete the final visual effects, post sound, and we have the personnel to pull it off, regardless of complications.
