In his run to the title as the winner of season 12 of ABC's "Dancing With the Stars," former Pittsburgh Steelers receiver Hines Ward was anything but stiff.
That's not the case in his latest primetime endeavor, as the Super Bowl XL MVP will play a zombie in an upcoming episode of the AMC drama "Walking Dead." Ward's character appears as one of the "walkers," the undead masses who have taken over a post-apocalyptic United States.
Ward's former college teammate, IronE Singleton, is a regular cast member on the show, playing T-Dog, one of the human survivors.
In his first season as an analyst on NBC's "Football Night in America," Ward has managed to avoid appearing lifeless on his broadcasts. It's too bad you can't say the same for the show's halftime studio analysts.
