Yep, here we are, trying to rally everyone to get behind this project to produce Pet Zombie Rocks. What can we say? We are three creative, undead-aficionados who dig zombies and vintage toys & artwork...so for us they go hand-in-hand...or severed hand-in-hand...You get the idea. We also think great art and toys shouldn't require a lot of non-renewable resources to create and enjoy.
What is the Pet Zombie Rock?
Geez…talk about a no-brainer: They’re domesticated minerals, tamed ores, housebroken elements – completely zombified. They’re everything you loved about your not so cuddly vintage buddy, just creepy and undead – if you’re into that whole thing...which we are : )
Every Pet Zombie Rock character is a unique, hand painted piece of collectible artwork that will be crafted locally in Kansas City by the artist, Kyla, for undead4EVR. Each possesses its own fun name and haunting personality. They’re creepy-cool as individual collectibles but menacingly mischievous as an entire horde
Where does your money go?
Every penny raised goes to art production (paint, brushes and supplies), website and social media upkeep, and Kickstarter Reward distribution costs. Please help us get the rock rolling with your donations as we hope to move The Pet Zombie A-Rockalypse from local chaos to global pandemonium!
RISKS AND CHALLENGES
We have thus far designed and produced prototypical Pet Zombie Rocks, cardboard coffin packaging, and, of course, the video (which was a lot of fun!). We hope to generate a loyal following here on Kickstarter to fund the production of Kickstarter Rewards including Pet Zombie Rocks, packaging, apparel, and the rest of the Pet Zombie Rock paraphernalia! We have our friends, family, and a network of local suppliers to be ready to provide the support we need to produce and ship rewards within 45 days of receiving Kickstarter funds....which is the real reason we are doing this, to involve our community in a collaborative project and to have fun!
So, we are primed, dedicated, and ready to begin production as soon as we fund. It will be a lot of work, but a lot of fun too!
