North American Premiere Announced for Dead Before Dawn 3D
The Tiff Next Wave 2013 line up has been announced and WANGO Films has the honor of being Closing Night Film with their latest feature Dead Before Dawn 3D.
The TIFF Next Wave Film Festival is presented by The Toronto International Film Festival, which is aimed exclusively for youth, aged 14 to 18. This exciting event includes twenty films made for a youth audience and is held February 15 through 17 at the TIFF Bell Lightbox.
“Dead Before Dawn 3D was made directly for a youth audience. We are thrilled to be a part of this prestigious festival for our North American Premiere and share it with the next generation of movie lovers and makers.” States director April Mullen.
April Mullen (director/actor/producer) and Tim Doiron (writer/actor/producer) are both flying in to attend the festival and will be involved in several events over the span of the weekend including a Q & A after the Dead Before Dawn 3D’s screening. The screening is February 17th at 9:30pm.
Dead Before Dawn 3D has been traveling overseas and recently won the prestigious Perron Crystal Award for “Best Live Action 3D” in Liege, Belgium. The film follows a bunch of college kids who accidentally unleash a curse and have 24 hours to reverse it. The ensemble cast is lead by Devon Bostick (Diary of a Wimpy Kid) and includes Martha MacIsaac (Superbad/1600Penn), Brandon Jay McLaren (Tucker and Dale vs. Evil, The Killing), Brittany Allen (All of my Children), Kevin McDonald (The Kids in the Hall), Kyle Schmid (A History of Violence), Rossif Sutherland (High Life), Ellen Dubin (Napoleon Dynamite), and Christopher Lloyd (Back to the Future).
Other members of the Cast and Crew will be in attendance and will be announced shortly.
