‘The Walking Dead’ Season 5 Casting Update: Seth Gilliam Joins the Zombie Drama as [SPOILER]

The Walking Dead" recruits "Teen Wolf" and "The Wire" star Seth Gilliam for Season 5. Seth is the first new actor to join Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus, Steven Yeun and others for "TWD" Season 5. According to Deadline, Seth is set to play a character named Michael Todd. However, the real name has been kept a secret.
According to the Web site, the actor might not go by the name Michael Todd in "The Walking Dead" Season 5. Deadline states that fans can relate the character to none other than Father Gabriel.
Michael is a person with two sides - one is friendly and humorous while the other is scary because of a dark secret.
Gersh and Bob McGowan of McGowan Management rep Seth Gilliam. The actor first got on AMC's list through a recurring role in an untitled Lagravenese/Goldwyn pilot.
Seth has also been a part of "Teen Wolf" as a recurring star.
In the past, AMC has already added Andrew J. West, Christian Serratos and Alanna Masterson as "The Walking Dead" Season 5 regulars.
Andrew J. West debuted in "The Walking Dead" Season 4, Episode 16 as Gareth the main man at the Terminus.
Meanwhile, Alanna Masterson joined the show as Tara. She was a part of the Governor's team but after the gruesome prison battle in Season 4, Episode 8, she hit the road with Glenn on his search for Maggie Greene (Lauran Cohan). Tara and others are now in the Terminus.
Christian Serratos joined "The Walking Dead" along with Michael Cudlitz (Sgt. Abraham Ford) and Josh McDermitt (Dr. Eugene Porter). These three characters are on a mission to reach Washington D.C. as Eugene knows the real reason behind the zombie outbreak.
With an actor like Seth Gilliam in the show as Michael Todd or maybe Father Gabriel, it will be interesting to find out if he has anything to do with Beth Greene's kidnapping in "The Walking Dead" Season 4, Episode 13 "Alone."
"The Walking Dead" Season 5 airs this October on AMC.
