Fellow Downton Abbey fans, I know we're all real upset after this last season. Don't worry, I won't get into specific spoiler territory right away, but if you watched season 3, you know all too well that we lost some beloved characters -- and the season finale was so shocking the show's creators actually had to issue an explanation to help deal with the fan outcry.
Well, if you've been mourning the tragedies of season 3, you need to check out this video that begs the question of what would happen if the dead came back ... as zombies. Yes. It's an animated zombie-themed parody titled Downton Zombey, and it is AWESOME.
Hilarity -- and show spoilers -- ahead!
The video was created by Conan and The Daily Show writer Rob Kutner, and features Reno 911! star Tom Lennon as the voice of Lord Grantham. The brief plot is about what you'd expect -- Matthew and Sybil return from the dead, zombified -- but the truly brilliant bit is how perfectly "Lady Violet" delivers her trademark zingers.

"Is it just me or does he actually have more personality now that he's dead?" HAAAA.
My other favorite part is the theme music at the end, delivered zombie-style. "Duh duh duh DUH duh duh duh duhhhh!" *rotted, maggot-strewn hand dusts a chandelier*
Pop culture is perhaps a tiny bit over-saturated with both zombies AND Downton Abbey lately, but I still think these are two great tastes that taste great together. And of course the Countess and Carson would be the ones to survive a zombie apocalypse. That's just science.
