The newest incarnation of Evil Dead is going to embark on a 29 city tour to celebrate it’s release. The tour starts on March 11th so you could potentially see the movie a whole month before it comes out on April 5th. Usually these kind of tours come with special events like meeting the director or stars of the film, so keep your eye out for more news. Meanwhile, you can read the full list of cities below. So far they’ve only announced the cities and no theater information yet.
Five twenty-something friends become holed up in a remote cabin where they discover a Book of the Dead and unwittingly summon up dormant demons living in the nearby woods, which possess the youngsters in succession until only one is left intact to fight for survival. Based on the original 1979 film made famous by Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell.
